SAFF Chemical Reagent was established in 2017 as a start-up company in VAN-TEKNOKENT, Turkey by Nurettin Menges who is a professor at Van Yüzüncü Yil University.

         The first action of the company was to start a project in which finding of new synthetic routes for some generic drugs were designed. The company has focused on the synthesis of special heterocyclic molecules, bioactive heterocyclic molecules, and API. The company works with seven researchers who have different research specialties such as heterocyclic chemistry, nanochemistry, microbiology, and medicinal chemistry.

         The company has taken two different research budgets from The Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey-KOSGEB. The company works on new projects to be a supplier for special heterocycles (especially bioactive compounds) all around the World.
